"I came to Titian Adil not knowing what to expect. The practitioner I met took time to explain everything clearly. I did not feel rushed, and by the end of the consultation I had a much clearer picture of my options. That was genuinely helpful at a very uncertain time."

"Going through a divorce is not easy. What made things more manageable was that the team here kept me informed — every step of the way. They handled the paperwork and correspondence without me having to chase them. Communication could sometimes be a little faster, but the quality of advice was solid."

"I was hesitant to consult a lawyer because I worried it would feel formal and cold. It was nothing like that. The initial conversation felt like speaking to someone who genuinely understood what I was going through. Fees were discussed openly upfront, which I appreciated."

"The process took longer than I initially hoped, but the practitioner was realistic about timelines from the start so it was not a surprise. The maintenance application was well-argued and my children's needs were central to everything. I would recommend them to others in a similar situation."

"What I valued most was that nobody pushed me to do anything. Amirah laid out what was available and let me decide. When I did decide to proceed, the whole separation was handled respectfully — both parties felt that the process was fair, which matters when you share children."

Case Study A — Uncontested Divorce & Asset Division
Challenge
A married couple in their early forties had reached an agreement to separate but were unclear about the legal steps involved or how to document the division of jointly owned property appropriately.
How We Helped
Following an initial consultation, we prepared the necessary divorce petition, drafted the consent orders for asset division, and managed all correspondence with the other party's solicitors. Mediation was considered and ultimately not required.
Outcome
The divorce was finalised within five months. Both parties felt the process was handled fairly and without unnecessary conflict. The client described the experience as "less distressing than expected."
Case Study B — Contested Custody Application
Challenge
A mother sought to formalise custody arrangements for her two children following a separation. The father disputed the proposed access schedule, and the matter needed to proceed to the Family Court.
How We Helped
We prepared a thorough affidavit setting out the children's current arrangements, schooling, and daily needs. We attended all case management sessions and presented the client's position clearly and constructively at the hearing.
Outcome
The court awarded custody in line with the client's position, with a structured access schedule for the father. The matter was resolved within eight months. The children's welfare remained central throughout.
Case Study C — Maintenance Review
Challenge
A father sought a variation of an existing maintenance order after a change in his employment circumstances substantially reduced his income. The existing order was no longer manageable, but he was concerned about how to approach it without damaging his relationship with his children.
How We Helped
We reviewed the original order, gathered documentation of the changed financial circumstances, and filed a variation application. We maintained a constructive tone in negotiations with the opposing party to preserve the co-parenting relationship.
Outcome
A revised order was agreed upon by consent, reducing the monthly maintenance to a level reflecting the client's current means. The process took four months and avoided a contested hearing.
